The Offline Club started with a simple bento.me page and separate event pages via lu.ma. The concept quickly grew into an international success: bringing people together offline and fostering connection. To further scale this success, the founders needed a future-ready, scalable websiteâone that could integrate lu.ma event pages seamlessly, help visitors easily find their city chapters, and bring the branding by Chiara Mulas (including her beautiful illustrations) to life online. Since The Offline Club is such an amazing initiative, we happily took on the challenge, working alongside Ăngel Figueroa Mayordomo, who handled wireframes, copy, and behind-the-scenes automations.
Before diving into design, we conducted extensive research to translate the brand into a website structure with flexible layouts and content blocks. Our goal was to preserve the colorful and playful style in a digital environment that feels both dynamic and scalable. We also carefully evaluated the best Webflow components, animations, and interactions to enhance The Offline Clubâs unique vibe.
Together with Ăngel, we developed wireframes that laid the groundwork for a logical and intuitive user flow. We mapped out the visitor journey: how do people easily find their city, discover new events, and see the role of City Leaders come alive? The wireframes allowed us to make decisions quickly and establish a solid structure.
Next, we created mockupsâthis was where the brand truly came alive. We elevated the visual style by adding graphic details and maximizing Chiaraâs illustrations. The result: professional yet playful designs that perfectly reflect The Offline Clubâs mission. The mockups offered a clear preview of how the site would ultimately look.
In the development phase, we built the entire site in Webflow using the Client-First system and a comprehensive style guide as our foundation. We created both static and dynamic pages so that each city got its own CMS-powered pageâcomplete with built-in lu.ma event calendars. We also added an interactive 3D map where new cities can be pinned. Each pin is interactive and shows visitors where new chapters are live. Plus, we integrated subtle micro-interactions, a creative âall systems offlineâ animation for the 404 page, and a calm, user-friendly navigation. Ăngel took care of automations via Make, crafted SEO-optimized copy, and ensured a smooth integration across all parts of the site.
BrandBros built a fantastic website for The Offline Club, exactly how we wanted itâand all within a month! The feedback from our community was nothing but positive, and the same goes for our collaboration. Fast communication. Clear structure and process. 10/10 service and quality.
